Traditional Auctions
Traditional Auctions are auctions that are conducted with both the buyer and auctioneer in the same facility, as opposed to online auctions which involve one or multiple parties communicating with one another via the internet. The Riverside Company currently offers three different venues for traditional auctions: Our Regular House Auction, Special House Auctions, and Special On-Site Auctions.
Regular House Auction
The Riverside Company will begin holding our regular night auctions; however, we will be moving them to the first and third Saturday nights of each month starting at 7:30. The first auction in be on September 18, 2010.

Special House Auction
Simply put, If you bid the highest bid you get to buy the item, subject to the whether or not the seller's minimum bid is met. You will be charged a 10% Buyers Fee and sales tax unless you have a tax number. Currently, the sales tax in South Carolina is at 6%.
Want to Sell?
If you would like to sell items during the Thursday Night Auction, then you need to arrive at least a half-hour prior to the start of the auction. Note: sellers will be charged a commission on items sold.
